These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JT Social LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of ReelBrief, including any content, features, and functionality offered at www.reelbrief.co (the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation in your jurisdiction.
To access the core features of ReelBrief, you must create an account by authenticating through the Manus OAuth service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe your account has been compromised, is being used in violation of these Terms, or poses a security risk to the Service or other users.
ReelBrief is an AI-powered tool that allows registered users to submit URLs of publicly accessible videos from supported platforms (including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and others), receive automatically generated transcriptions, summaries, tool identifications, and action steps derived from those videos, organize their saved summaries using categories and labels, and export their summaries in Word, text, or Excel formats.
The Service uses third-party AI models and transcription services to generate content. All AI-generated output is provided as-is and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content before relying on it.
Summaries are private by default. AI-generated summaries, transcriptions, and associated content produced by the Service are stored exclusively in your private account and are not publicly accessible, indexed, or shared with other users or third parties. ReelBrief is a personal productivity tool; it does not publish, broadcast, or make available any user-generated summary to the general public. You are solely responsible for any content you choose to export or share outside of the Service.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service in any way that:
Violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation;
Infringes, misappropriates, or violates the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party;
Submits video URLs for content that you do not have the right to process or analyze, including content protected by copyright where processing would constitute infringement;
Submits video URLs containing content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
Attempts to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the security features of the Service, including rate limiting, authentication, or access controls;
Uses automated scripts, bots, or other means to access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal human usage or places unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
Attempts to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service; or
Uses the Service to develop a competing product or service;
Reproduces, republishes, redistributes, or commercially exploits AI-generated summaries or any content derived from third-party videos processed through the Service; or
Uses AI-generated summaries for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial informational use.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any user who, in our sole discretion, violates these provisions, including suspending or terminating their account and reporting the activity to law enforcement authorities.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to submit any video URL to the Service for processing. You acknowledge that submitting a URL does not transfer any rights in the underlying video content to JT Social LLC.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with the terms of service of the platform hosting the video and with applicable copyright law. JT Social LLC is not responsible for any copyright infringement or other legal claims arising from your submission of video URLs or your use of AI-generated summaries derived from third-party content.
AI-generated summaries produced by the Service are transformative works created for personal informational and educational purposes. They are not reproductions of the original video content and are not intended to substitute for or replace the original work. You acknowledge that the summaries are provided solely to help you understand and act on the key ideas in a video, and that you will not use them to reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit the underlying content. Because summaries are stored privately within each user's account and are not publicly accessible through the Service, they are not available for discovery or review by third parties absent a user's own decision to export and share them.
JT Social LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that content accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to our designated DMCA agent containing the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).

Your notice must include: (1) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent; (2) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (3) identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (6) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Counter-notifications may be submitted to the same address. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated in appropriate circumstances.
By using the Service, you grant JT Social LLC a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and transmit the video URLs and generated content associated with your account solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We do not use your individual video content or summaries to train AI models, and we do not share your content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Notice.
AI-generated summaries produced by the Service are provided to you under a limited personal license for non-commercial informational use only. This license does not extend to the reproduction, republication, redistribution, or commercial exploitation of summaries or any content derived from third-party videos. All rights in the underlying video content remain with their respective owners.
The Service is offered under multiple subscription tiers, including a free tier with limited monthly usage and paid tiers with expanded capabilities. The features and limits associated with each tier are described on the Service's pricing page and are subject to change with reasonable notice.
Paid subscriptions are processed through a third-party payment processor. By subscribing to a paid tier, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as described in our Refund Policy (Section 17). We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice to affected subscribers.
The Service, including its design, code, features, branding, and all content created by JT Social LLC (excluding user-generated summaries), is owned by JT Social LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service or JT Social LLC's intellectual property other than the limited right to use the Service as described herein. "ReelBrief" and the ReelBrief logo are trademarks of JT Social LLC.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JT Social LLC disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor do we warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content. AI-generated summaries should not be relied upon as authoritative, legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JT Social LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.
In no event shall JT Social LLC's total cumulative liability to you for all claims exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to JT Social LLC in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JT Social LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, your submission of video URLs, or your violation of any third party's rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Sections 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 15 of these Terms shall survive any termination or expiration.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with proceedings conducted in Houston, Texas. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify you by email or through a prominent notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
The Service is designed to be accessed through a standard web browser on any device, including mobile phones and tablets. No native mobile application is required or provided. You are responsible for ensuring your mobile device and browser meet the minimum requirements to use the Service, including a stable internet connection and a modern browser that supports HTTPS and cookies.
We do not request access to your device's camera, microphone, contacts, location services, or photo library. If your browser requests any such permission, it is initiated by the browser itself (for example, to paste a URL from your clipboard) and not by ReelBrief. You may deny any such browser permission without affecting the core functionality of the Service.
By using the Service, you consent to our use of a session cookie necessary for authentication and a local storage item that records your cookie consent choice, as described in our Privacy Notice. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage and cookies, which will log you out of the Service.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and JT Social LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
We offer a refund on new paid subscriptions subject to the following usage condition: a refund request must be submitted within 7 calendar days of your initial payment, and you must have generated fewer than 5 summaries on the paid plan. Once 5 or more summaries have been generated, the subscription is considered used and no refund will be issued, regardless of the time elapsed.
This policy exists because the core value of ReelBrief is delivered at the point of generating each summary. The first 5 summaries on any paid plan represent a meaningful use of the service, and refunds are not available once that threshold has been reached.
Refunds are not available for: (a) subscription renewals after the initial 7-day window; (b) partial months; (c) accounts found to be in violation of these Terms; or (d) accounts that have generated 5 or more summaries on the paid plan. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that we reasonably believe are made in bad faith or that abuse this policy.
To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email address, the reason for your request, and confirmation that you have generated fewer than 5 summaries on the paid plan. Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days.
